Paul G. Fredricks was an American metal artist of the Big Bands Era of the 1930s and 1940s. He is referred to for his extraordinary abilities as a trumpeter and left his blemish on a scope of bigger groups like the symphonies of Alvino Rey, Charlie Spivak, Les Brown’s Band of Renown, and Mel Torme’s Mel-Tones, in the jazz music scene of the period encompassing World War II. Fredricks’ grandparents were individuals from the German relocation to the States in the nineteenth century. Raised close to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he accepted his first trumpet as a gift from his folks at nine years old. He fostered his abilities playing all alone and in a few nearby groups as a little fellow until he ventured out from home at 16 to seek after his fantasies in New York City’s music scene of the time.
